Introduction Data Analytics and PowerBI – COIL with Anle, Taiwan

I recently had the opportunity to create a two-session Collaborative Online International Learning with Anle SHS, Taiwan. This collaboration focused on Introduction to Data Analytics and using PowerBI to analyze survey results on the relationship between cell phone usage time and learning satisfaction. The experience was an eye-opener, and using PowerBI is an innovative approach to enhancing students’ learning experiences.

Enhancing Student Learning Through Collaboration

This collaboration perfectly demonstrates how technology can improve student skills and knowledge. The students could work collaboratively and analyze data in real-time, which was an exciting experience. They were able to create interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs using PowerBI, which made the data analysis process more engaging and fun.

Through this project, our students gained valuable skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving. They were able to draw conclusions from the data and come up with solutions to address the issues raised in the survey.

The project also provided an excellent opportunity for our students to work with their peers from different parts of the world, fostering cross-cultural understanding and communication.

One of the project’s highlights was the students’ ability to create insightful visualizations from the data. The charts and graphs they created were easy to read and understand, making it easier for them to identify trends and patterns in the data. They could also communicate their findings effectively, an essential skill for future success.
