The biggest Edtech Conference in the Philippines is coming to Davao in April. Society for Technology in Education Philippines (STEP) is a gathering of administrators, educators, researchers and EdTech enthusiasts interested in developing students’ learning in the use of technology.
This is the 5th STEP Conference since 2015. It will be held at the Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School, Gen. Douglas MacArthur Highway, Davao City on April 11-13, 2019.
This is my third time attending the conference and the second time as a concurrent session speaker. Last year was pretty amazing. There was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about new educational technologies. Also, my session about learning management system and its role in the 21st-century classroom was attended fairly.
I am excited to learn about new trends in education during this conference. And I will be sharing, as a concurrent session speaker, about Raising Student’s Voice with Adobe Spark. This will be exciting as I will present how educators will benefit the use of Spark in the classroom and encourage student’s voice. If you haven’t heard about Spark, head on to this website. This new web application from Adobe allows you to create videos, images and beautiful web pages.
The STEP Conference is a must to attend especially if you are a technology teacher. Have attended previous STEP Conference? Share your experience in the comment below.
